Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Elko Concrete website and any work you hire us to do. When you browse this site, call us, send our form or accept an estimate, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
"We", "us" and "our" mean Elko Concrete. "You" means the person using this site or the property owner who hires us. If you sign a written job agreement with us and it says something different from this page, the written agreement controls for that job.
What we do
Elko Concrete is a concrete contractor in Elko, NV. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations and retaining walls, and we do stamped and decorative work, concrete cutting and foundation raising for homes and businesses in Elko, Spring Creek and nearby areas. We're fully licensed and insured.
What's on the home page and our service pages is general information about the trade and how we work. It isn't an offer or a quote for your job, because no two sites have the same soil, drainage or access. The scope of your job is whatever your written estimate or agreement says.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free, given at your property and obligation-free. We base them on what we can see on site, the size and thickness of the work, the finish you pick and material prices at the time we write them, so an estimate can change if you wait a long time to accept it.
Some conditions only show up once the old concrete is out or we start digging, such as soft or wet ground under the slab, buried debris, roots or old footings. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you and get your OK before doing the extra work. Changes you ask for after work starts are added to the price the same way.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We give you a start date and an expected length when you book, but they're estimates. Rain, snow, freezing nights and high heat can push a pour back, because concrete placed in bad weather comes out weaker and that's not a shortcut we'll take. Supplier delays and ground conditions can move the schedule too.
After a pour, the concrete needs time to cure, the wait while it hardens and gains strength. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on and when it's safe to drive on. Using it sooner, or letting others use it, can damage it, and we're not responsible for that damage.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as soon as you can. If we've already ordered concrete, materials or equipment for your job, you may owe us for those costs. We'll let you know if a cancellation fee applies when you book.
Your part of the job
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area, to tell us where your property lines are and to point out anything buried that we might not know about, like private water lines, sprinkler lines, septic parts or wiring. You're responsible for getting any approval you need from a homeowners association.
Please move vehicles, furniture and anything else out of the work area before we arrive, and keep kids and pets clear while we're working and while the concrete cures.
Payment
Payment terms for your job are written on your estimate or agreement. Some jobs need a deposit before we order materials, and the balance is usually due when the work is done. We'll tell you which payment methods we take when you book.
If a payment is late, we can pause the work until it's paid, and we can use any remedy Nevada law allows to collect what's owed.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
We guarantee your satisfaction on every job. If something about our work isn't right, call us at (775) 510-0139 and we'll come look at it and work with you to fix it.
Concrete is a natural material, and some things are normal and not defects. Small hairline cracks can happen even on a well-built slab, which is why we cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack. Color and texture can vary from one pour to the next, and stamped or colored work won't match a sample exactly.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from heavier loads than the slab was built for, from deicing salts or chemicals, from ground movement, water or tree roots we didn't cause, from someone else's work, or from using the concrete before it has cured. Other than what we say on this page or in your written agreement, we don't make any other promises about our work or this website, as far as the law allows.
Limits on our liability
As far as Nevada law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost use of your property, lost income or the cost of a place to park while your driveway cures. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We do our best to keep this website accurate, but we don't promise it's always complete, current or free of errors, and we're not responsible for any loss from relying on it instead of a written estimate.
If we disagree
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us or reach out through our Contact page first. Most problems get sorted out quickly when we talk them through on site, and we'll try in good faith to do that.
If we can't settle it that way, either of us can take it to the courts in Elko County, Nevada, and you agree that's where it will be heard.
Nevada law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them here, and the terms in place when you accepted your estimate apply to that job.
